I am seeking to utilize my diverse knowledge in a full time position. I have held Aircraft Operating Area Clearances and am solely responsible for Building Management. I joined Terminal One Management, Inc. (AvAirPros Services) in June of 2000, and have over twenty years of facilities maintenance, mechanics and management experience, which includes a profound knowledge of Airline Terminal Maintenance Operations. 

As Manager Facilities for Terminal One Management at JFK International Airport, I am currently responsible for all building contract services, environmental issues, building systems, and training activities related to facilities management. I administrate company policies and programs to ensure a safe, efficient environment for passengers and employees to avoid accidents or injuries. I am responsible for monitoring and controlling the costs of energy efficient measures, facility utilities, installations and project construction.  Additionally, I am responsible for on-site planning, scheduling, and progress reporting of all construction projects; and coordination with the Port Authority of NY & NJ and all Federal Agencies.  I also assist to implement the capital improvement projects at Terminal One, and control allocations of inventory, such as supplies, spare parts, and building and janitorial equipment. 

 Prior to joining the firm, I was the Building Superintendent in charge of the Port Authority Contracts for various service companies for the maintenance and operations of over 986,000 square feet of building space. I supervised facility maintenance mechanics, HVAC/high pressure licensed stationary engineers and administrative personnel. Prepared reports, established and maintained pertinent records, implemented a preventive maintenance program, in addition to establishing performance goals and preparing all relevant accounting and billing data. 

My knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas has enhanced my ability to deal with people and my hands-on approach to trouble shooting issues has resulted in constructive solutions. As a Manager, I am only as good as my team. A respected and revered leader gets that way from rolling up his sleeves and getting to work. Leading by example gains the trust of every person who works with the “Manager” and sets standards and goals for performance. Keeping  over 1,000 employee’s, 24/7 International Facility running smoothly while keeping civilians safe during terrorist war times cannot be done alone. My success is a reflection of the years of orchestrating the sections of support to synchronize in such a rhythm that coverage from all anticipated and unanticipated situations are addressed. I bring with me the years of tried and true experience, loyalty and hard work gained from the successful experiences in my work history.
